It seems that when buying skills from trainers the price increases whenever you buy a new skill, does this also apply for signet of capture?

Is the competition arena pretty much only for people already at level 20? I really enjoyed the arena at Yak's Bend but here I kinda feelt a little
sorry for the people that got stuck with me (3x20 and me L17 vs 4xL20).

I just recently found my first gold colored item could someone give me a rough estimate of its value or am I better off salvaging it than trying to sell it?

Barbed Short Sword of Swordmanship
Slash Damage 14-21(req 11 swordmanship)
Damage +14%(while enchanted)
Lengthens Bleeding duration on foe
Swordmanship +1(17% chance while using skills)

no idea on the others but the best way is to use quests and save your skill points if possible

trainer skill costs keep going up and SoC cost stays the same

SOC signet price does go up

on my elementalist
my next SOC will cost me 265 (goes up by 5 gold each time)
my normal skill cost me 530 (goes up by 10 gold each time)

on my mesmer,
SOC is only 155 gold

Actually, you'll notice that the SOC cost is 1/2 the cost of the skill. Buy a new skill and the SOC will also increase in price.
